sometimes we don’t get all the status updates I would suggest you give them a call to find out

what is the RFE about?

they want evidence to prove that i’m still together with me husband, since we’re married for 8 years and there’s no kids, i’m guessing they’re probably thinking it was just for greencard

i did call but it’s so difficult to get to a representative, it’s always the machine giving me the same update i already have on my app

ok then that’s what they would tell you I think. next time say technical issues or invalid date status on case that will put you right through, it’s just a long wait lately

5 months since I sent to USCIS my RFE and there is still no answer. I don't know how long I still have to wait a response from them.

@ Kate …did u attend the interview for citizenship already? I already had my interview and passed. just that in order for them to schedule my oath ceremony they need proof that i’m qualified through marriage to a citizen within the 3 years🙄

It has been 4 months since I had my interview, they asked me for RFE, I sent them 2 days later and I have not heard from since then

@Patricia Sukhu I had my interview on marriage based on December 2020. After one month I got a letter with RFE request. On 1st April USCIS notified that they got my RFE and since then the silence.

I'm in the same boat 😐it's to hard .

update-Lastnight I did a service request for case is outside of normal processing time and today My case was updated to oath ceremony mailed out... I'm scheduled for oath ceremony for Sept 29th... thanks to all of you for ur advise.

Patricia, I did the same and they notified me for the ceremony on the 31st
