@simone bee Hi I am Canadian as well. So the 131 is done at the NBC and not a field office. The 765 as well is NBC. So they have approved your 130 which is great. The 485 is your actual greencard and they are either slow or they have some concerns. Must be very stressful for you. My husband is a lawyer and my immigration lawyer is a colleague of his. Everything that goes on in immigration is weird and is very all over the place. Stay positive and it will get approved.

hey! @Kingsley B thanks for the context. I guess I’m confused why I didn’t get the combo card when my I 765 was approved. In terms of the I485, looks like your I485 took 293 days to full approval. I’m on day 226. I just hope it’s soon 🤞🏼 I keep seeing posts from the NYC FO where people are having crazy quick turnaround. I have the simplest case, TN AOS, no priors, no overstays, we provided ample financial proof etc.

@simone bee They do not issue combo cards anymore. The 765 and 131 are approved separately and by different departments. There is so much that is unknown and lawyers don’t know everything either (why some take longer). They have established that you marriage is real or they would not have approved your 130 which is often the bigger challenge. They could be going over the proof of income and background checks on your spouse. Each person is subjected to the officer they get looking at your case. I tell people two police officers could deal with the exact same situation differently. These are officers and so much of their work is subjective. Please post updates when you get approved. I had panic attacks waiting for mine. You will get an approval 🙏😊
