This agency have zero compassion about people’s feelings with the anxiety and depression it comes wit and they will be acting like they are the best place democracy is practiced fairly when they treat people based on their colors and nationalities… So sad šŸ˜ž

king zJun 5, 2023

king zJun 5, 2023

@king z you are not alone. I’m in my fourth month since my interview was last held. But here is what I now is happening. We all will be approved soon. I say so based upon reviews and interactions with former USCIS officers in my church. 1. If USCIS had sufficient reason (s) to deny one application they will do so without wasting any time immediately after one interview. Denial grounds must reach 50 percent treshole. Anything below that must require a second interview or NOID after the interview. 2. Most applications that are file right after weeks of marriage ceremony is treated a bit differently. They tend to delay and buy time to ensure that the couple marriage is real and allow time for them to hit their second anniversary or come at least 30-60 days to their second anniversary before approving. This happens even when the evidence is overwhelming. Timing is always a big factor for them especially when you have a Black/African and Mixcian background. Nigerians are the worst suspects for them, sorry to say. Their goal is to see if the marriage is real or if the couple will fall apart and they don’t have to issue green card. This is especially so, when there’s a age gap between the two. That’s why they wait until you get close to your second anniversary and approve after an interview is held. Forget the bullshit they tell people you will get your green card in three weeks. Most officers lie about that and it’s intended to make you feels comfortable and avoid you asking them questions after the interview. Remember, they got other applicants sitting outside waiting on them to be interviewed. Also at times, some officers conduct interviews prior to reviewing the case file. (Bad!!!). So once the interview is done they have to go back and look over the entire file carefully which takes them 1hr 90mins to process an I-485 application. They also got other cases interview to do and work load continue to pull in on them from their supervisors, thus causing delays at times. At times too files go missing or relocated from one center to another. Such a pain and delays. So, the entire process is complex and one must be prepared for it with God’s help. But at the end, USCIS needs your money to operate for their service. Help is on the way!!

Today is 3 weeks of my stoke interview and no response, we applied for my GC a year and a half after we got married so I’m expecting to get a 10 year green card — I applied May 22. Hopefully I’ll get approved this week šŸ™šŸ»šŸ„ŗ it’s been 5 years since I saw my family and all of this is really difficult. this group has been helping a lot tho, praying for all of us šŸ™šŸ»

@B P How did the stoke interview go? Also I’m sure they did asked you why you waited a year and half before applying for green card ? They suspect you did on purpose to get 10 years. They will check your pervious marriage if any by the two of you before approving. They will X-ray your file before approving. Best of luck.

you’re not alone I’m going 7 month after interview and no decision made till now
B PJun 5, 2023
@John RICHARDS it went well, we had 2 discrepancies only… I was there for about 45 min and my wife for less than 15min. She didn’t ask actually why we waited, she did ask about my wife’s previous marriage. Our attorney was present and said we did pretty well. I’m super anxious about it anyway tho

@king z I’m at Brooklyn FO too .. they are very slow .. they are working with a slow motion movement .. I submitted my medical 105 days ago .. they just updated the status 10 days ago and I’m still waiting.. I don’t mind having interview if that will make the process faster .. I requested expedite and they sent me a notice stating that they transfer my request to the proper division and they are going to get back to me as soon as possible.. it’s been 6 days since that notice and nothing seems to work it’s been 15 months since I applied and I have no idea what to do more .. I lost hope

@B P you will be fine.

John RICHARDSJun 5, 2023
@waiting :) it will be fine. I’m open to them visiting me too. Guess What!!! A fool showed up at my house this weekend claiming to be from my light company and was asking all kinds of questions outside what a sales man will do. He claimed he could lower my light bill and all kinds of stuff. We spoke for two minutes at my door and I welcomed him into my house without asking for his ID cause I could tell he needed to rest. My wife and I gave him water and told him we wasn’t interested in reducing our light bill or switching company. He then looked around our living room with pictures on the wall and he said thank you. We replied, you are most welcome Sir. Hahahah. My wife thinks he’s not from USCIS since they will always introduce themselves when they arrive and I do agree with her. For this guy he acted like a sale spy guy. I don’t care either. Nothing to hide.

@roro April 2022 the entire MN is super slow. you guys might see movements around the end of 2024. Right now you got 48 months

@waiting :) these guys have no work to došŸ˜€šŸ˜€šŸ˜€šŸ˜€šŸ˜€
roro April 2022Jun 5, 2023
@John RICHARDS so what’s the point of asking for medical if it’s going to take that long .. they expecting us to do it every time they ask for it .. they don’t really care how much the civil surgeon charges for it
J
John RICHARDSJun 5, 2023
@roro April 2022 if you have hit your second anniversary of your marriage, they might be heading for approval without interview. However, that can only happen if your medical is available and up to date on file. Also if the marriage is the couple first marriage or have a child, that’s straight forward and easy too. Good luck
roro April 2022Jun 5, 2023
@John RICHARDS it’s going to be 4 years of marriage on January .. first marriage for both of us but no kids yet
J
John RICHARDSJun 5, 2023
@roro April 2022 well approval is coming your way.. Background cleared and Taxes upright you good. If so, no worries it just the matter of time. Howber, I must add that if your wife has other children or a kid and you guys don’t and you guys are young, it might be something for them to think about. But again, they still can’t deny the case especially after four years of living together and doing everything. They WILL Approve it. Worst case if they delay up to the close of this year, I will encourage you to get a lawyer and sue them. Once the citation is serve, they will approve in weeks cause they hit going to court. IT COST USCIS A LOT OF MONEY EVERY THIER LAWYERS GO IN THR ROOM.
