Sep 09,2021 and so called USCIS government officer didn’t approve mine case, GC holder and the case is in Vermont, I don’t know what those people are doing in the office ????

congratulations. Minnesota filler too but transferred to Des Moines, IA and was approved on 27 April, card was produced may 2, waiting for my green card to arrive. PD was july 2021.

@Adekunle Muraina if your I-130 has gone outside of normal processing times, you could file a service request. However, if you already sent your medicals to the address provided you should already know what the field office is.

@Aakash Sharma Be patient. I know that is easier said than done and is really unfair that 2022 and 2023 cases are going through before 2021, but with the new pilot program they have set is shafting us 2021 filers aside. However, trust the system and your time will come sooner than you think. Do not lose hope 😊😊

@stay positive thank you! Yes, I am seeing many 2021 Minnesota and Minneapolis FO cases get approved outside of MSP. Many of them going to Kansas City… It is no denying MSP is one of the slowest in the country, and I thank USCIS for recognizing this and moving cases around accordingly, waiving interviews. Although yes, it could have been done a lot sooner, but beggars can’t be choosers. Congratulations to you too, and please let us know when your card is in hand!

@50 Playz thank you! Yes, most likely they will waive interview if I-130 is already approved. Matter of formality, and a matter of when till your 485 is approved (the latter being the most annoying part…) Congratulations to you too, and hope your approval comes through quickly!

@Baburao GA… my I130 is approved and the address that I need to send my medicals shows NC cuz I filed in NC. but the approval for my I130 was sent from Nebraska service center. so that’s where I’m confused where my field office is. need some insight guys.

@Adekunle Muraina there’s your answer then. The field office in NC is where they have jurisdiction on your case, the I-485. Service centers deal with cases en masse and send generic responses for approval, denial, RFE, etc.

Hi @Baburao GA did you file for EAD concurrently as well?
We filed I-130,I-485,I-765 and I-131 all on Aug 2022. Got medical RFE for I-485 on Feb 2023. Got I-765 and I-130 combo card in hand on May 2023. Now suddenly yesterday we got a new RFIE for I-130. That’s over a year after filing and 4 months after getting EAD and travel docs. Have you heard anything like this before?
