520 Days and Counting - PD 6th June 2024
Hi, my application was received at Texas on 5th June 2024 and PD assigned on 6th June 2024, recept notice received on 21st June 2024. Processing times are continuously increasing, started from 7.5 months and currently at 19.5 months, most of the I-140s (approximately 80%) in the batch as per casestatus ext and mycase hub are approved, 2 denied and 1 RFE. Any commenfs on this? shall i keep hopes high or expect an RFE? Earlier query time was November 2025 which has now shifted to March 2026.

@Muhammad K. if it’s within your possibilities and your case is strong and well supported, do Priority Process. On Reddit and here, recently a lot of people are posting approvals after upgrading their cases. Also there’s cases of people waiting over 600days. good luck !

@Muhammad K. So, a while back, I asked my lawyer and a few others about this, and their answers were pretty clear. They said, “Cases are reviewed within hours, and sometimes an RFE (Request for Evidence) is needed, which can extend the process to check additional information. Just because a case has been pending for 600 days doesn’t mean it’s been thoroughly checked; it might just be sitting in a pile waiting to be reviewed.” If you’re current and ready to file, especially if your future depends on this, I’d say go ahead and get it done if you have the resources. Honestly, if it were me, I’d do everything I could to get it finished. And remember, a long wait doesn’t necessarily mean your case will be approved or denied, it’s just not adjudicated yet. Anything can happen during the process. For example, I’ve seen someone here waiting over 500Days no PP and they still got denied. If it were my case, I’d want to get a clear answer quickly so I’d know what steps to take next. Refiling today isn’t the same as doing so in three or more months the wait times are only getting longer, and who knows what the future holds. But right now, this tool is available, and if you can do a Priority Processing (PP), you’ll at least get an answer faster and know for sure what’s coming next.

My PD May 2024, and I got RFE after 11 months. I sent the response last July and I am still waiting. I also thought about paying the PP but my lawyers does not recommend (too much denied cases). So I think I will wait a bit more, if my Final Action gets reached (Dec23 now) I definitely will pay for PP.
