I'm curious if anyone has encountered this situation before. I've been waiting for my AOS EAD for almost 17 months now. I have tried everything in the book too. I submitted expedite requests twice, got rejected twice. Then I got congressional assistance but that didn't really help. I submitted outside normal processing time requests twice, that didn't help either.

so sorry to hear that. Did you apply for both AP and EAD or just EAD? Got my EAD in less than 2 months after applying.
