my I-485 is outside normal processing time and I contact my congressman today so can you tell me how long they will back with you your response,, how long you get your response from uscis

same. I’m at about 400 days now and they received my RFE around 160.

@Singh USA 🇺🇸 congressman was really fast, his office submitted the request to uscis in less than a week after contacting me! uscis answered back to them in less than 2 weeks! so a total of 25 days since I reach the congressman

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 me too! USCIS got the response on September 06 2023! since then nothing! it is ridiculous considering my RFE are medical 🤦🏻‍♂️

@shady b look congressman in your area from google, go in their website and contact. you should find everything from their website for example my congressman in fort Myers is STEUBE

@matteo carta yup mine was for. birth certificate with my parents’ names on it. 🙄I’m sure that delayed my case 6 months at least. it looks like cases either get an RFIE or transferred to a field office after 5 or so months

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 brother you are totally correct! they said this to the congressman:is currently pending at the National Benefits Center (NBC) within processing times and will be processed simultaneously with any pending I-485 Application(s) to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status by the local field office of jurisdiction (Fort Myers Field Office). so they need to move it in a different field. hopefully soon
