@Rom Sin I knew some people have PD in 2021 even got the GR before you in 2022. USCIS don’t treat people fairly. But your PD is so close now, I think you might get your GR in at least 4 months from now.

By the way, do u think they might call me for an interview? because I see other people been called for interviews well in advance before their priority dates …. since my pd is so close , I m hoping they will just approve my 485 without interview

That is because there are only 10k visas that are issued per fiscal year

@Rom Sin Nothing is sure with USCIS, so it could be possible but if you case is good, you might get an interview waived. I knew a lot of people get waived interview during 2021, 2022 fiscal year. Nowadays USCIS would call you to get the interview even when the your PD is not current, they don’t have to wait until your PD is current to get the interview. So there is a chance they waive your interview if your case is good but with USCIS nothing is 100% sure.

@J A If they issue 10k a year I would be glad. The current backlogs I guessed it around 26k visa needed to be issues but they only issues 4-5k a year not even 10k, 8k is the highest ever happened in 2022.
