2 years for EB-1
EB-1 with plenty of evidence and supporting letters from 10 individuals (2 former bosses, 2 managing directors, 5 external business partners and the head of my trade association). Prior to EB-1 spent 3 yrs on L-1A with a Global Fortune 500. Case raised to 2nd level officer 120821 after an inquiry of case outside normal processing times. Officer deferred to Texas SVC center which replied right before Xmas with boilerplate “delays… case in line for processing and adjudication” response. Lost multiple higher paying jobs as a result of this extended process…

this is crazy! why so long? any RFE on the I-140, or simply no action so far?
M
Mihai pJan 11, 2022
oh, I see the details now... RFE after 9 months, and response is pending for almost one year. what can I say... in my case the approval came after one month after my response to RFE. hope you’ll hear some news soon

This right here will be the pitfal of the economic supremacy of the US. Any other country on earth would beg to have a skilled immigrant like yourself contribute to their economy, let alone permanently immigrate. But oh well unfortunately USCIS is a long forgotten government agency with a small budget who gets forgotten every time congress reviews budgets. Maybe build back better will pass, that would help with the backlog, I doubt it tho. Hope you get some good news soon.
