2 EAD cards
my vawa got approved last month and Uscis sent me an EAD card with 1year validity. They sent another one yesterday and the validity is 2years. Both have different photos and different numbers. when i first filed my vawa in 2021, i filed everything (485, 765, 131 and 360). My 765 was filed under the C31 category but i refiled a new 765 under C09. So now that my vawa has been approved, both cards that were sent each has my receipt number for vawa and 765…

@haada haada by sending you the 2 year card after the 1 year card I believe they are correcting the mistake of initially sending you through one with 1 year validity. You can call USCIS for clarification

@haada haada Some thing similar happened to me, ( submitted I360, renewal I765 and I485 in April 2021), found out my lawyer submitted the i765 under C31 instead C09. I submitted the correct category a year later which was approved last year.
My vawa was approved in July 25 2024 and they sent me a C31 card with 2 yrs validity in August, also sent me an approval notice for the I765 also C31(different receipt number) saying it won’t be produced, instead I will get a green card because i485 has been approved mind you my i485 is still saying it’s been transferred and a new office has jurisdiction. Days after this approved i765 changed to transferred new office has jurisdiction also.
I would say keep both but start using the one you got through approved I360 and also give them a call
