I am so blessed to be back and I don't want to scare you with my experience just want you to be ready in case this happen to any of you! because every time I travel I look for stories of people that use there combo card to feel safe but this time I am the one that have to share this bad experience.

@Edward, take a deep breath, you are home. I experienced this in March last year; I saw an agent question a guy about personal and delicate information. Even though it did not happen to me, I felt it, so I do understand how you feel. I’m glad they paroled you in for a year. My advice to you is to travel only if necessary and let God take the wheel. I am not spreading fear, but don't expose yourself. You can be doing everything right, but who knows who will be interviewing you every time you fly, so don't risk it for now till your case gets approved.

@jj jj it was 15 hours in total 12 hours waiting until they call me to questioning and 3 hours answering questions. I got there at 4:00pm Monday and they let me go Tuesday at 9:30 am

@Edward May I think traveling multiple times and staying for "a long time" is a red flag for them right now. Remember, you don't have a status yet. Travel only when necessary, that's my suggestion.

Calling someone a “hater” because they ask questions is pretty lazy. People who actually travel know secondary means questions and if your story is true and the abuse is real, then one shouldn’t worry. The way you keep stressing over it and warning everyone makes it sound like you don’t want people who have real stories unlike yours to not travel. Questioning a story isn’t fear; it’s common sense. @A T is ok if you think my story is BS I respect that I am just sharing my story so everyone that is going to travel is prepare in case this happen to them I was not afraid before this happen to me because everything has been really smooth with my trips this is my 5th time using my combo card first time I use it I enter by IAH and I just wait 3 hours but they didn't ask me any questions at this time they didn't put any stamp on my passport, second time I enter in the same airport IAH I wait only 5 minutes they didn't stamp my passport ether, third time I drive by Laredo, Tx and I was not send to secondary, forth time I drive by Laredo, TX and I was not send to secondary so I was really confident but this time was completely different this time they did stamp my passport with a Paroled Stamp valid for 1 year and they even put a stamp from my last time that I enter by airplane that they didn't put it before.

It was never my intention to add more stress to you. You and everyone here have enough stress and are trying to make progress and forget about the abuse we went through. We should not be reminded of what we lived through during our failed marriage, nor questioned about whether the abuse was or is real enough for an ashole hiding behind a tag. We already have officers doing that. I tagged him because he is such a clown and thinks that people going through such horrible experiences are lying or have fake cases. You can read his comments. He is always calling people out or telling them that they are lying about their experiences. @A T should be thankful that you have not experienced any of these events before. According to you, if your case is real, it should not have been a problem. Let me tell you that it is not about the questioning. It is about the fact that every time someone starts questioning, not only are they trying to find something to deny you entry, but you also relive the abuse over and over again. Everyone here went through different kinds of abuse. Yes, I do agree with @A T that there are some cases that are fake, but it is not my job to call out or play detective. And “YES,” God is my shield. ChatGPT got it right!

@Leo B 😆 AT did stress me out before when someone else shared a similar experience, but what I've learned so far is that he is terrified just like everyone else, yet instead of working through his issues, he attacks people on this platform using AI to create his comments, and I think his goal is to promote people to use their combo card and not to be afraid of traveling and that is totally fine. Still, we have to be cautious, that is all.

@Raul R, don't be afraid, just be prepared. You can be telling the truth, but when you are anxious, tired, and frightened, you can provide the wrong information or forget the information they are requesting. Also, some officers are neutral, but others are rude. You will never know who you will get. I read that some people recommend traveling back to the States at night, when fewer passengers need to go through secondary inspection.
