My GC interview was more than 2 hours. questions: Each and every line of 485 Application . Apart from that every question about my work location like ,street name, how many floors building, neighbouring offices, how many employees were there on the first day of my work, how was I recruited to my current job, reporting officer on the first day and now. Give a description about my office building. and many more such questions.
At the end I was supposed to sign each and every answer on paper in front of the FO supervisor.
Every document submitted with my application was checked by FO .
At the end FO said it will take 60 days for processing but fortunately, GC got approved in less than 2 weeks.

.. lol.... I was confident my each document was 100% accurate. FO asked for W2,I provided last 12 years w2. same thing about pay stubs. I was asked for current pay stub ,and I provide last 10 years ... I did flood FO with over documentation. Only thing pissed me of was questions like how many floors office bldg is , how many other businesses are in the current building and so and so forth..... But thank God.... All is well that ends well!!

sure .. congrats !! we had similar exp .. not as terrible with the buildings and stuff but quite like.. I think they got this bunch of questions .. that they seem to be asking for emp based

what I find weird is .. how on earth somebody can answer how many people joined on the day when you joined .. does that make any sense at all.. 😠

@ loverbird.. ours was how many joined with you on day one.. and how many people were there in the office .. I find it hilarious .. I mean usually there are tons if it’s a MNC.. how can anybody answer that .. for eg when I joined IBM 14 yrs back there must have been idk 4000 plus or more in the building premise .. nobody would know that ..can they

well my spouse said there was just him joining on day 1.. and there were 5 or 6 people on the premises .. it’s a small office .. and he is on L1 so that kind of goes with what he said ..

no update since the interview sept 23rd .. I hope we make it this fiscal year quota .. only a few days left ..
