12 months and still NO EAD
AOS concurrent filing Spouse of USC
Today it’s 1 year from the filing date and I’m still waiting for my EAD and my AP.
How do they expect people to survive?
I just want to work so I can earn my own money and help my spouse pay bills.
It’s really frustrating!
Not even an RFE for medical.
NOTHING.
Tried expediting too many times, call them almost every day or chat with live representative trough Emma, nothing works.
I can’t stay positive anymore. The process is mentally draining.

Totally understand, I just got to the 365 day mark today too but I have gotten the medical rfe. Besides that nothing but silence, stay strong!

I understand your frustration but i’m 14 months out and just got approved for EAD, don’t even have it in hand yet so hang in there 🤗

@god bless I know there are many of us in the same boat and I’m really sorry about that.
That’s just not fair to anyone. I don’t understand what USCIS thinks of how these people are continuing their lives. What are we supposed to do during this time if we can’t have a job

it feels like this whole process is FREE and we should feel LUCKY. Absolutely ridiculous. Stay strong people, good things are coming

Were you able to talk to the tier 2 officer? I’ve tried twice but they said no because nothing is wrong with my case 🤷♀️ I’m like why are you holding this for long time if there’s nothing wrong with it??

@Tina C same, I’ve tried but they said no and last time they told me to wait 30 business days for the response to my inquiry (made in August 28) and I’ve never heard back from them, so today I called uscis again and they made another request for my EAD. I also ask about an info pass appointment but they said they can not give me an appointment unless if is a travel emergency. I really don’t understand why is taking so long 😔 I’m starting to believe that no one in uscis is working on my case. I’m super frustrated and getting depressed

I know. I don’t understand either. So stressful and depressing 😔Honestly I’m not happy at all when I see someone who applied this year already got approved their GC. USCIS really should process old cases first 😤

@Tina C yes same. I feel really sad to see that there are still some old cases of 2021-2022 pending while they are currently actively processing new cases
