So we applied for the I-130 exactly 1 year ago today. 3 July 2023
314 days since any activity on our case.
Our service center is Potomac and still says 80% of cases completed in 13.5 months.
We have not had any RFE's ( I actually would welcome a request so at least we know something is going on with our case . lol 😆)
Looking at others timelines, it looks like many are getting their approvals not long after the 1 year mark or within 30-60 days after. Does this seem accurate to you all ?
So Happy Anniversary to those who applied on or around this date. I know it's hard and beyond stressful, but stay positive all because our time is coming. 🙏

@r s nothing yet. Looking at the latest updates it's showing 13.5 months for approval for I-130 then another 2-4 months for NVC
I honestly think we'll hear something mid August, I'll keep you posted

@r s I got in touch with an agent thru Ask Emma. He said our case is now at Texas Service center. Not sure when that happened because I got disconnected. I'm trying to get back into the queue now to ask more questions. So frustrating

@r s No, not really. My time to complete dropped from 5 months to 4 so I guess that's something. lol
We are at 389 days since we applied and I have noticed approvals around the 400 - 415 day mark so hopefully that happens.
Plenty of approvals for the one's already in the US, some really quick. Happy for them but definitely frustrating for us . lol

@r s Nah, nothing but crickets.lol Tuesday we'll be at day 400 😔
I've been seeing a lot of approvals though but also seeing people still waiting even after 428 days. I just don't know what to think anymore.

@S R Just curious if you have heard anything from your lawyer about what's happening now with open enrollment for the I131F ? I wonder if this will delay our wait time. I literally have seen multiple approvals in 2 days . I'm so frustrated!!!

@Marcus Boeckel unfortunately nothing! my lawyer just asked me to wait till October. if nothing improves by then, then they will actively reach out to whoever they are supposed to. I’m so frustrated too.. it almost a year and half, I haven’t seen my husband! and now it’s more frustrating because can’t just leave the job and go see him! from 13 months to 14month errrrrr … wait period is 15th now …
