Immigration process is a game of chance and luck. Maybe it because of the monthly case updates request by my senator.

@Easy I I’m waiting for 226 days at Vermont. Made 2 request at senator and I didn’t get any reponse from them and later I made an expedite request which is denied. I don’t know what to do to get approved faster.

@Rejooo bhatt. It a good thing. California processing time is 3.5 months and NBC is 5 months while Vermont is 14.5 months. Try your senator

@Florina Kopaci. Not all senators are helpful. They put a request every month on my behalf. Maybe that the difference. My wife had a major surgery this past June and i almost lost her because of the poor medical system in our country. Expedited her case and it was denied. Do you know hilites.today? You can click on insights and put your case numbers. It can tell you if your case is processing or they just received it and lay it down.

@Easy I My case is processing and I think it’s at 36 in list. In the purple tape when is writed “Processing” it’s left 1” to the final step.

Hello, how we know the reason why we got i-824? 😭😭 i've been waiting for a year, and what we got was not welcome letter but the request for i-824 btw, my SC is california. did you sent the form i-824 to service center mentioned on the NOA2 paper or different address?

@Easy I Where do I have to mention in Form I-824 where my interview schedule is? i was submitted form i-824 in may’23.

@BA Desai. The I-824 doesn’t have where you want to schedule interview. What I did was to check the box that says USCIS to send my approved petition to NVC. I also wrote on the last pages were you add additional information my City and County for interview. Please don’t forget to put the page number and question when writing additional information

After filing an expedite request, how long did it take them to get back to you on that (denying it)?

@yas f. I received automated messages denying my request. When it finally checked 2 months later, it was denied and 2 days later my case was approved
