what I know, getting an EAD card DOES NOT necessarily mean your case was approved. You will have to wait for an approval letter. But congrats, it seems you will be receiving a new card soon.

it's your 2 years EAD (i765) with category C31. if u filed an i131 it will be included in the card but if u didn't then u get ...not valid for reentry.... at the bottom of card. congrats 👏

kc....if it's since 2019 and u never got an i131 or i765 since then....most likely it's your approval since the notice was under your i360 and not i765. I wish for the best for u

had similar case, it’s your ead under VAWA definitely, I was also under stress thinking of what to expect at the time, it came out to be ead even though I had ead before approved on I 485 so I got two eads one month intervals

@ lala lala someone told me green was sent to someone and another person also told me ead was sent to another person with this kinda of senecio I will wait and see when it comes anyways. the status still remain the same as at now. I hope everything comes thru. thanks

right, same here, was wondering what to expect since I already got an ead few weeks back, I asked my lawyer and he told me categorically that it was ead under VAWA because i just got my VAWA approved, I didn’t believe him because I was thinking in my head that I had just been given an ead not long, so why will they issue another ead, low and behold, another ead was delivered! I have exact case with you and so I am speaking from experience but anyway yours might be different since God works in a mysterious way, you might be lucky. VAWA case is great but really it’s a very pretty long time line. I have been on my case since February 2019, just got my interview a week ago, I had thought the interview will be waived but no.

The officer was with my entire documents on his desk and almost all the interview questions came out of I 485 which are more of a yes and no answer! Also asked when did I decide to marry the guy, how many kids do I have, do I still contact my abuser, when is my abuser’s date of birth and asked me a random question from my case which got me emotional, the officer himself gave me a tissue paper to wipe my tears. asked me to name all my kids from other marriage. the entire interview took almost an hour. asked me all the places I have lived in the Us and all that. At the end of the interview, he gave me a hand delivered mail telling me my interview was completed and they will let me know if they need anything from me

I did not get an instant approval rather than my case is being reviewed and nothing has changed yet on my status. My status still reads Congratulations! I 360 approved since October 2020

Your answer to your asked questions, when my i360 was approved, I was notified, saw the notification on my status! if you filed i485, you also can be approved if your marriage was with a citizen but if you marriage was with a LP, you are not likely to get ead until your I360 is approved. So, I got two ead, one from i485 and another for i360. After approval, it’s another long journey/wait. Your case will be transferred after approval which took almost 1 year and 5 months to get me to the point where I am now. I wish you the very best of luck! I 360 is not as simple as abc! it’s good when you have no choice, the wait time is extremely long and it’s killing me bad. All the same, I pray for all of our success!

@lala lala my receipt date is Nov 2019 … of course I know it’s a waiting game as you not really do anything than wait and hope for the best. I was just curious about the 2diff senecio that I heard about it. as long am a legal immigrant am cool till they give the gc. I was married to a citizen.

Right, I didn’t file concurrently, that was why I didn’t get the ead immediately. I got ead after 3 months I filled form i485. So long as the marriage was with a citizen and you file concurrently, you would get EAD but with LPR, no ead until after approval

I married a LPR and I filed concurrently in July last year and I got my EAD and AP already

@lala lala and @ shari mc I filled concurrently and I was married to an American. thou I 360 was filled initially and after the prima facie I filled i485 and I 785 and the i785 I have running is like a renewal under the vawa application cos I got one already which has expired.
