1-130 IOE Nebraska & Potomac
so I just noticed that my case has two different service centers, the paper work I received via mail says Nebraska, for the first one ( where it shows your payment & name & birth ) and the second paper stating how to create an account, says Potomac. anyone else in the same boat? or know of why ? is this normal?

where did you send your case to?
ilse somarribaJan 26, 2022
honestly my lawyer sent it out via paper copies. but I’m confused, according to my research IOE is electronically. and that’s how my case number starts. (receipt number)

then your service center should be Potomac because it’s the center that hadle all cases of IOE maybe 🤔 they transferred your case to different center who knows.

it’s at Potomac ☹️ I heard it’s the slowest of them all.

I updated the service center from Nebraska to Potomac, and my ranking went from 51st to 36th. 🥺 I hope they don’t take long. although I know this app isn’t all that accurate, but they already have my biometrics & 1-756, I would just need to renew it.

are u sure ur lawyer send it by mail? also IOE doesn’t mean a specific center! IOE means that u filled online! mine starts with IOE and I’m at Nebraska.. it’s totally normal that u were transferred to another center. chat with Emma and she will tell you which service center u at now; request to talk to a live agent.

no I’m actually not sure. but my receipt also starts IOE. my case is being processed at Potomac service center.

IOE just means that u filled online- that has nothing to do with ur processing center! check the receipt notice letter that you received after filing your case, at the bottom left side u will find the service center name.
“If the USCIS California Service Center (CSC) is processing your case, your receipt number will begin with “WAC.” If the Nebraska Service Center (NSC) is processing your case, your receipt number will begin with “LIN.” If the Texas Service Center (TSC) is handling your case, your receipt number will start with “SRC.” If your application is with the Vermont Service Center (VSC), your receipt number will begin with “EAC.” If the National Benefits Center (NBC) is processing your case, your number could start with “MSC” or “NBC.” If USCIS is processing your application online, your receipt number will begin with “IOE.” These first three letters will be followed by ten numbers to form your complete USCIS receipt number”
