I-130
Hi everyone, I’m a U.S. green card holder. I filed Form I-130 for my wife on January 4, 2024, and my case is still showing as “processing.” I haven’t received any updates so far.
Is this normal processing time, or should I take any action (such as contacting USCIS or submitting an inquiry)?
I’d really appreciate any guidance. Thank you!

it’s normal because you’re a Green card holder not US citizen, you should go ahead and apply I-485 for her to save some time

it’s normal for green card holders. It is faster for citizens.

I Have one questions for everyone , My wife she is Lawful permanent residence not Citizens , she Apply for me last year , September 2025.
# This is Adjustment ofstatus like F1 to Green card.
we got 2 letters From uscis.
One is case Receiving information and payment.
and other one is , uscis make a Account for how to check my status.
Question : How long take times for i-130 process , It's like same times anyone for home country or Little short time for adjustadjustments of status.

You can check USCIS' current case processing times online on their website. For this category, it's significantly backlogged, which explains the delay. Unfortunately, it's still within normal processing times. You may attempt submitting a congressional inquiry, which is discretionary but might help speed things up.
