Airline Captain Seeking EB-2 NIW Refiling Advice
I am a South African airline captain, instructor and examiner with more than 17,000 flight hours, including extensive Boeing 737 command and training experience. I previously filed an EB-2 NIW petition based on my aviation safety, training and operational expertise, but the case was denied after an RFE. I am now reviewing the decision and considering a stronger refiling. I joined this community to learn from successful NIW applicants, especially aviation professionals and applicants who qualified through exceptional ability without a university degree. I would also appreciate recommendations for immigration lawyers with proven experience handling pilot or aviation-related NIW cases.

It’s been 60 days since my interview with no new updates or RFEs. Is anyone with a late May interview at Mount Laurel still waiting, or have you received your approval recently?

Case Status Mismatch
has anyone ever seen a case like this?
My pd is 02/2022. Im an the principal application eb3. My i-485 case was filled on 01/2023. My spouse is a derivative applicant under my petition and her I-485 was filled on 04/2026. Recently my spouse I-485 application was approved on July 25th and the card was produced on July 29th. However my primary i-485 case status is still in “Case remains Pending”. As i know, a derivative applicant’s I-485 can’t be approved unless the principal applicant’s petition is also approved. I was trying to contact USCIS or chat with emma but there was no response. My case is in the San Fernando Valley Field Office now.

USCIS online account glitch
Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well. I had a quick question about the myUSCIS online account. It seems it no longer shows any info for cases, just the link to their case processing website. Usually, I’d be able to see “Fees were waived” or “Fingerprints were applied”.
Is anyone else experiencing this or do you know anything about it?

so there is no single approval from KCFO since March 2025 till date for 2021 or 2022 filer? KCFO is super busy or something else I heard someone got NOID again for having degree and no intent?? so they have no intention to approve the cases? how can we know?
