I received my daughter’s Work Authorization today, she’s just 6years old. which I filled for myself and her with pending I485 under VAWA and my work permit isn’t approved yet, my status is still the same. please I’m concerned about the whole thing. anybody in this VAWA process please help thanks.

when I completed my interview today and came home after 1 hour status changed to “New card being produced” I thought they approved but suddenly they changed the status to “interview completed and my case must be reviewed”
do anyone can help me with this topic, I am tensed will they approve interview went well and she told that she will approve.
2.5 months after the interview, i485 finally being approved
our i130 updated to actively reviewed this afternoon then approved within the same day, and i485 updated just now, to “approved”. it seems i130 was the the thing blocking. thanks everyone in this community. grateful to all.

I had my green card interview today at the San Jose field office in Santa Clara country California. it was very smooth and friendly and quick. he just asked how I met my husband. he didn’t take any of the documents I brought and said my file was already complete! and he said congratulations!! it was perfect !
I encourage everyone to invest in a lawyer to make sure ur documents r good since when the file is complete they don’t even bother with asking anything in the interview !!!

Oath Ceremony done!
Hey everyone! I just completed my oath ceremony in Milwaukee. It went very smoothly and quickly. I got there 45mins before my appointment but was only allowed in 30mins before. They checked me in and asked for me to be seated. When all the people with the same appointment time had checked in, they called us into a room and we said the oath of allegiance. I'm very grateful!!
p.s
My advice, when you go in for the ceremony, as them if they can also make certified copies of your certificate. That way you won't have to send in your original certificate with your passport application. just fyi
Work Permit finally approved! However it’s a month before my greencard interview so it’s pretty much useless! Better late than never!
