actually yes. my case was kinda tricky. I really applied for a EAD under DED for Venezuelans. a month later Bided granted TPS for Venezuelans (more benefits than DED) so I then applied for that. I used 2 different lawyers for this process and the one that I had hired for DED first actually sent my paperwork after a month. therefore USCIS received my TPS petition 10 days prior than my work permit form. I was stressed thinking this mess up in policies and 2 processes would affect my case. luckily for approved for the work permit after 7 months . TPS is still pending
