I know this process is tedious but it's all about patience I guess. now the wait is on for the interview for the green card . god bless you all .

Filed May 14th under C9 category (marriage).
I did an expedited request that was submitted on December 02 by a congressional inquiry. Not sure whether the congressional inquiry or they’re processing May filers or a combination of both was that did the trick but we’re happy that we’re partially done with this stressful process.

Green card finally approved!
My green card approved today and I finally get to take a break from USCIS (at least for 2 years)! It was so stressful but the wait finally paid off. This was through the Baltimore office so if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

it’s been 38 days my i485 got approved and got my approval notice on mail but did not receive green card yet.
there is no update like new card being produced or card mailed to me. Any idea what’s going on??

Dec 3rd k1 visa interview
My novia just passed her visa interview in Bogota, Colombia. She said the interview took 15 mins and was surprises at how simple the questions were. She was expecting a detailed analysis of our relationship and more. The official asked simple questions, looked at the paperwork, and basically said, ok. After 2 years of waiting, and spending time and money; it took 15mins to pass. AFTER SPENDING MONEY AND DEALING WITH THE INFERIOR COLOMBIA POSTAL SYSTEM, THE GUY DIDNT EVEN LOOK AT THE PAPERS I SENT. SO IN ALL, A LOT OF TIME AND MONEY WASTED FOR A 15MIN PROOF INTERVIEW. OF COURSE I'm ecstatic and relieved, but still! Oh and we did this all with NO LAWYER OR LEGAL ADVICE. WE JUST followed the US TRAVEL sites instructions, and everything worked out in our favor. Covid, and PLAIN FACE LYING FROM THE BOGOTA EMBASSY AND NVC Delayed everything and that is why it almost took 2 years. Anyway, I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE WHO OFFERED THEIR VIEWPOINTS AND ADVICE TO ME DURING THIS 2 YEAR NIGHTMARE. I HOPE EVERYONES CIRCUMSTANCES proceed in the direction that is wanted. WAVA NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED
Hello everyone.
After waiting almost 1 year I finally recived the news this morning that my New Card is being Produced.
All thanks to god who is great and powerful, I finally obtained an answer. All I need to say is stay positive and confident, never give up. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. Last night I was reading about a case on here that is smilar to mine at the same service center and they were also approved. I have one question for you all, I filed together with the I-131 for advanced parole. Will I receive that together with the card or does it arrive separate? the case status on it does not say anything.

Driving license and SSN
My work permit got approved yesterday but AOS is still pending. I already have my driving license and SSN from my current employer (i have an R-1 visa) if I quit and accept a new job, do I need to apply for a new SSN? also, what happens with the driving license? I will no longer have a valid Visa, only pending status for marriage GC.
