anyone know how long they take to approve nvc documents it’s been a whole month and how about interview timings for Islamabad. i hope it goes by quick. we have a one year old and he only saw his dad for 3 months from November-Feb. i don’t plan on traveling again as it’s too risky for baby. i hope everything will be done quick and hubby can be here soon. iA

After so much support that I have received recently after submitting my inquiry, you are almost the first people I’m sharing the great news with!
I have received a case status today as “New Card being Produced”!
I don’t know what triggered it, either it was the inquiry I submitted last week, or the fact that I have filed for n-400 almost two months ago, but here we are!
There was no RFE or an interview, my naturalization case was sent to NBC, and this one stayed in Vermont.

N400 interview
Thé interview took maybe 10mins - started with reading test, then writing, the civic test. Afterwards she went through my form and I signed confirming details.
At the end, she gave me a letter that says it has been approved and my status now is waiting for oath ceremory.

It was a roller coaster ride for me, failed my initial interview, the officer marked “You have another chance to prove your ability to understand english”. Transferred case from Florida to California and waited a year before getting interviewed. Had my interview a month ago , passed civic, writing and reading but “decision cannot be made yet” then Finally after about two weeks “Oath taking Ceremony will be scheduled”. Never lose hope Guys! You’ll get there! Thank you USCIS.

Thanks to all the community for all the advices received during my journey.
Yesterday had my interview in Charleston SC
it was a great interview to be honest. The officer was really nice, She didn’t ask many questions other than my name and my husban name and that was basically everything she asked.
I was approve in the interview and today my status changed in the app.
