Case Approved
Interview Day
My case is approved already but some people requested to know how my interview day went and questions asked.
so here we go:
Interview (temporary green card based) and I felt it was great. It was like a friendly conversation and we talked about a lot of random stuffs not related to our marriage specifically. For example we talked about preferences on which covid vaccine shot to get, we also talked about how she feels about her job as an officer, about restaurants, swimming pool and she recommended some nice chilling spots in New Jersey. To my surprise most questions were directed to my wife who’s a citizen, i was just like an escort to my wife’s interview as I barely said anything other than smile and talk about my career and future plans. The major concern for me was that my wife mistakenly said I was working without a work permit during peak covid time. The officer wasnt happy that I worked without authorization. I defended myself by saying I was financially strapped and needed to survive. The officer said they are gonna do a background check and get back to us in two weeks time. In three weeks time we got approved. Newark FO.####

It’s finally over today !!!! From asylum , to green card holder to getting in trouble and going through removal proceedings. It has been a long journey . I’m grateful to God for all he’s done. Guys don’t give up. Immigration does not have the upper hand , God does . Do not give up. Eighteen years is long especially when after getting in trouble , your GMC of five years, starts over . I didn’t give up, I kept praying . All the best and remember GOD HAS THE UPPER HANDS, his words are final and his plans for you will come to pass no matter how long
