AGAIN FOR THE RECORD…OFFICIALLY APPROVED 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳👏🏽👏🏽
STATUS CHANGED🥰🥰Y’ALL JUST DON’T KNOW!! I AM SUPER HAPPY THAT THIS PHASE IS OVER!! It sucked a$$ big time as originally I was going after the k3, not knowing it wouldn’t do ANYTHING to help my case. I’m here to say that yea, this system is very broken and needs a serious overhaul. You have to fight for what you deserve periodt. Some are more fortunate than others to get approvals within a year. MOST of us wait at least a year if not more. If immigration was transparent we wouldn’t go thru so much agony about the unknown. I understand that there processes, but time frames should also be consistent with those processes and we should be updated on all of our cases at least once a month. In my case I had to ruffle some feathers to get my approval and you know what? I’m going to do the same at NVC. Me and my husband were in a long distance relationship for 3 years prior to getting married in Uganda 🇺🇬. Now it’s been 16 months since I’ve seen him. I’m anticipating on possibly another half year or so before we will be together again FOREVER. Nothing will split us apart.. not even death. I want to continue to encourage those on this painful journey because I now know and understand the pain. Came back to chat with y’all and noticed a change. Case Being Actively Reviewed 2nd time… YOU KNOW THE REST!!! APPROVED!!!! Approval letter under Documents tab. 1 week after RFE was received and I called yesterday to expedite which I was told No expedite, but got approved today! I have cried so much already and I’m so thankful to those who have been inspirational in this long tedious journey. I’m off to the see the Wizard now at NVC to see how this process goes now. OMGGGGGG IM FINALLY FINISHED WITH THIS!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
