Wrong DOB on i797
Hi everyone,
My lawyer messed up my DOB for my EAD renewal which was filed back in Nov 2020.
I raised an SR back in December, And they said:
Recently, you notified USCIS of an error on your Lawful Permanent Resident Card. If your Lawful Permanent Resident Card was issued with an error, you will need to complete a Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card. You can download this application on our website at www.uscis.gov. If the error on your card is a USCIS error, the correction will be made at no additional cost to you. If the error on your card is not a USCIS error, you will need to file an I-90 application with correct fee.
Which doesn't make sense since I submitted for wrong date on notice. Talked with Emma in April they said they have incorrect and they corrected it..
Talked again in April they said yes they have my correct DOB.
We had marriage based Interview in Newark on 29th of March also and haven't heard back anything.
I talked yesterday with agent, and he said they have wrong DOB for my i 765 renewal. I asked for correction, He said Tier 2 will call me back.
In short my DOB still hasn't been fixed on my i765 renewal.
Now my question is, Does wrong DOB for my i765 renewal (had correct first time ) affect my i485 ? Officer yesterday confirmed they have correct DOB for my i485. This is super frustrating with expired EAD, No decision after interview and Issues with wrong DOB on EAD receipt. 😓

OMG. this is so frustrating. the wrong DOB shouldn’t affect your interview or decision on it. and did you ever mention to the officer at the interview about the DOB mistake in the I-765 renewal?

no ai didn't, He asked me my date of birth and I gave him correct DOB.
I didn't know it was still wrong until I talked with them yesterday. 😓

my lawyer messed up my dob also but I catch it when I get the i797 form..correct it with agent and also typographical error on there uscis website

Could you please share in detail. Did DOB affect your i485 approval?
Did you get approved?
How long did they take to fix it?
Now I am waiting for the Tier2 officer to call me back. Idk wtf is going on with them 😓

my EAD is expired, Renewal is messed up and no decision after interview.
I am gonna lose my job pretty soon 😓😓

Ska we did the correction with a live agent ..and I also did on the uscis website typographical error..gorm i130

my account number came from California..i797 from texas..online say Nebraska live agent said processing at California

same with me also, Agent said my i765 case is processing at NBC but the request they sent to Vermont.
I do not understand what the hell is going on 😓

Yeah, I tried 3 times they couldn't do it. Now they said Tier 2 officer will call me back.
Their system is really really bad.
