Writ of Mandamus filed today!!
So it had to come to this did it? I was patient, I waited like everyone else. When I see people getting approved who filed for AOS long after I did and getting decisions, I thought enough is enough. The system supposed to be equal and fair by design, but it’s far from it. I paid copious amounts of tax and contributed to this country for the last 5 years.
So last 6k I will give this country and paid to an attorney to get the final decision through writ of mandamus

it’s the only way to do it. I thought……one more month…..one more month. then I’m today I said screw it. just get it done and get this hell over with

I interviewed in June and still haven't heard back (EB2). I'm expecting to have to file WoM at some point too. Best of luck with your case, the system is definitely not fair.

Did you reach out 120 days after interview? If yes, what did they say?

120 days for i485 isn’t a thing. Thats N400, 485s they can take as long as they like. I tried reaching out via Congress and Ombudsman and myself to no avail. So they’re getting sued.

@ Z E, I just applied for my EAD so I am going to get it and use 1 year 6 months out of the two years then my marriage would have been 5 years and I will sue their ASS.

The paper they gave me at the i485 interview said to wait 120 days before reaching out, I guess that doesn't mean anything. This is all very frustrating, especially after giving them so much time and money.

Good luck Z E. You did the right thing. Mandamus will work. The 60 day wait is frustrating but it is what it is.
