a lot of guessing here. you have to wait for the official announcements, “hear say” is not good for this. I would guess and say that visas issued for business may get suspended but that doesn’t mean they will hold off on a K1. Follow what the USCIS does not what NATO says. We may be a huge part of NATO but the organization doesnt control USCIS. expect to see some frustration as there are folks in the Ukraine now that I imagine will find it impossible to get the interview now thanks to Russia. these events will toss a wrench into the system, people are pissed, market is down, probably not a lot of love for Russia at the moment.

Don't worry, you need to wait for Approve , it takes for a fiancé visa up to 12 months, then IOM can pass in Moscow or Warsaw and an interview in Warsaw. There are no restrictions yet.

@Chad my heart goes out to you and your fiancé. I don’t think your pending case with uscis will be impacted, but maybe the consular interview might be a challenge.

Even though it’s no one persons fault, unfortunately they have to suffer! Chad, Manuel is right! To add to that, America is also contemplating kicking the Russian students etc. out as a result of Putins decisions. It would be hard to expect that anyone will be entering from Russia anytime soon.

Manuel, take a chill pill and relax. Stop punching down on people. It won’t make you get yiur citizenship application approved sooner. The person asked a legitimate question. Respond if you can in a polite way, because you don’t know the person across from you and their situation, problems, struggles. A little compassion and politeness goes a long way. Well, first of Chad, I'm sorry you and your fiancee are in this situation. I'm sure most Russians do not want this war, Now Ukrainians are the real victims here, but the Russians will also be casualties in this war that their government chose for them. Now, this could all be speculation, but I believe what Manuel was trying to tell you was that the EU has decided to take drastic and decisive measures that will affect Russia, and its economy, and Russia knowing this will try to Retaliate which has started already. A few hours ago “Russia banned any British airlines in its airspace” and I'm guessing they'll do the same to the US and expect the US to do the same. I hope you're reunited soon with your family and let's not forget to pray for the people of Ukraine 🇺🇦
