What it’s going to happen with my new I-131 petition? And can I travel with the one that I got from vawa ? It’s safe to do that?
Last year I filled a vawa petition and this after a 1 and something year I got married again and my husband petition me. We filled I-131, 485 , I- 130 and765 forms and after a month I receive a travel permit approval from the vawa petition.

@fguyy yy i wouldn't do that if I were you. You applied for VAWA year ago and already married and applied through marriage. I am not lawyer, but I wouldn't risk if I were you. Customs will see in the system that you remarried. But that's just me. Good luck with this 🤞

@m&m s I didn't want to say it, but you are right. It screams 🚩 @fguyy yy it is not scary to travel with AP but you need to understand that you remarried which means your VAWA is cancelled and you can't travel with document that is not valid.

don't travel on the travel document once you remarried vawa is cancelled I know because we are in the same boat here

yes they did from the moment I remarried, I reapply 3 months after ( March) and they put me in the system (PD) for April. it's a mess the long wait 😔 😔 l

@fguyy yy I agree with the others. USCIS tends to set traps for people. When my ex withdrew the original application, they still sent me notice for interview. Had I gone in, they would have held me in custody. Don't fall for it. If you got married, that document isn't valid.
