I think it totally depends on the processing center / mood of the person who looks at your case! I was going to lose my job (I now have lost it due to delays) and filed based on a job offer and been denied both times.

Yeha they have processing times but 6.5-13 months is a pretty wide open window, it doesn’t exactly help tell when applications will get processed! Plus the above response was to the question about expedite requests - you can get an expedite request at one center saying you’re away to lose your job and others deny within a few hours.
