Hi @sK Kas your also from the Bay Area! awesome I been waiting for almost a year filled on august 17 2020 and it’s been 6 months since interview will be schedule. so we will have to wait a bit longer. let us knows any updates. just giving you my timeframe so you can have an idea. thanks for sharing.

we have been waiting for an interview to be scheduled since December 2020…. SF is taking forever :) I see they are working on application from May 2019. we filed in July 2019 so a few more weeks and we can submit an inquiry… all we can do is being patient!

thanks! good luck to all of us! we’ve been very lucky so far. my husband (i am sponsoring him, I am USC) has been able to work with EAD. we have renewed once with no interruption so we are lucky. its just stressfull and long… we started in 2018. we are eager to be done haha

@Ed R glad all its doing well and very happy for both, and like you said very lucky!. One quick questions for your Husband EAD do you have to pay additional fee to renew his EAD ? Thanks looking forward for your response.

hi! no we never had to pay additional fees for a renewal. but not sure if this applies to every cases. we have a pending i485, family based.

@Ed R thank you so much for your info, because I have the same issue I need to renew my EAD but it seems I have to paid additional fee, I thought some reason no fee because case it’s in process. thank you tho. I will try to find out more information regarding this.

it could also be a timing issue. we filed i485 and first EAD (i131 and i765) in July 2019 which included biometrics and fees. maybe they changed something after that?

thank you so much for the feedback yes probably it’s because your case was pending and needed more time so that’s why they added no fee, In my case I’m still in the range gap so maybe they change it and now they are adding fee. thanks for the info tho I will keep posted on this.
