USCIS is self funded not federally funded, so no it won’t affect Vawa cases. It will however affect any process that involves the federal worker ie immigration court, background checks etc

no USCIS is self funded, no major issues I filled VAWA during last shut down during covid time, my background checks are still pending its been 6 years years😢

@blessed & favored when you say something then just check facts. it’s a federal government funding agency. omg 😱 how you can post wrong information? even if they are partially funded by the government, they got laid off about 15K people in their Homeland Security.
