Been waiting for biometrics appointment since March 29. It’s been an exhausting process

they have 1 million backlog on EADs as of October . it’s gonna be a hot while

October this year or last year plus I’m March 15, 2021 filer and they used my old bio

Applied for EAD renewal 5th March (don’t need biometrics) and still waiting - also Vermont.

@Emma and @gaff vee. Many of us are new applicants so we don’t even have prior biometric details. We have been waiting for a first time biometric appointment notice.

I it is shambolic! I don’t need biometrics for my category (E2 spouse) and still heard absolutely nothing - visa is still the same so should be a very simple process - lost my job of 5 years as a result.

Wow. I’m sorry you lost your job. I know it can be a psychological torture but be still and know that great news and better job is on the way. I feel USCIS should be more accountable though. At least better communicate with applicants instead of put them on unhealthy suspense. Mans gast de watch him mental health.

yea they’ve been taking forever on EADs. idk why. ppl should be able to work while waiting for immigration

filed back in October 2020 and my case has only changed to “Correspondece was received and uscis is reviewing it” for the last 30 days

Filed: March 15 2021 PD: March 22 2021 PF: June 2 2021 Biometrics Appt: July 30 2021 NB: I-765 (c9) No new updates since. FYI if your account was updated to say "correspondence received..." and you didn't send anything it's an error on their side during the updating.
