Vawa concurrent i485
hi, what if my soon to be ex husband was a green card holder when I file for vawa and he now becomes a citizen can I file the i485 form or I still have to wait until they approve my case? plus I know he won't give me a copy of the citizenship certificate what do I do ?

No, It's depend on the time you got married to him. Since he was LPR at the time of marriage uscis will consider that even though he might be USC now don't make any difference.

If he’s a US citizen now yes you can send your i485 in since he’s status has changed you don’t have to wait until your Vawa approves

we have be married for 10 years now.. and still is but we are separated. and like you said that do I need to have a copy of his certificate? and how would I get it? he hates my guts I know he is not gonna even give a FLOP. about anything. smh so how can I get a hold of it I have all information for him but I wanna know how to get a copy of it
