yes it is possible, I got mines after 3 months. it simply means that they have examined your case and affirmed that you qualify for vawa.

@Abra I know people without PF who got approved so PF is just an access to some benefits while waiting on a VAWA decision

how long did it take for them to use your old bio after packet submission? It has been three months for me and I haven't heard anything from them. i was hoping they would use my old biometrics @ K

Yes i do but my lawyer had requested to put it on Freeze. We wrote a letter to the local office and then i filed for VAWA. I filed for Vawa 3 months after my biometrics, so definitely they will re use my biometrics am assuming. I see people getting reuse letter after 6 weeks and sometimes after 3 weeks after filing the packet, that's why am a bit suprised with my case file 😩 @ K

K do you have any updates from the day they get your application

@leo Don’t be surprised, remember we all have different officers attached to our cases, regardless in 2 years and 3months in MAXIMUM You will have a good news 💯. @celso, no updates other than my RFE of Background check received update, other than no more update and I don’t expect none until it says “New Card Is Being Produced” or “i360 Approval Notice” 😉

@K, you are so right. It depends with the officer you get. I like your spirit, very positive. Keep it up. I was told to send in an FBI background report to avoid RFE for background. It normally seals the deal, but who knows. The waiting game continues.

@K, i finally got my Prima Facie today. A huge step for me. It was dated February 14.

I got both my prima facie & notice that my biometrics will be reused end of January 2022. Guess now I play the waiting game.

Not always some folks wave waited months for theirs I really think it depends on your case, other people don’t get the Prima Facie at all
