so I got rfe to submit good moral character in the form of clearance from the police or similar. Now, the nearest date for an appointment with the police is November. I did the fingerprints with the fbi and they have given me the results. can I go ahead and submit that to USCIS? please Lemme know. thanks.

When I got mine from the police, I walked in in both stations in different counties I lived. go ahead and send the FBI as well

yeah the police precincts in ma area Don't issue that in ma locality. I had to go to the headquarters and inquire. I was then told to book an appointment and come back again. but the wait time is too long. I will send the FBI's anyway. thanks

You can skip the police and go through the FBI. Get your fingerprint card from IdentoGo or similar service near you and send it to FBI for a Clearance certificate. In Philly area I’ve waited for my appt but regret for not waking in to save time. Fingerprinting takes minutes and FBI report about a month. Still better than November appt in PD. Good luck!

may 1: Receipt of notices in hand
may 5: i-765 fingerprints taken. I guess they used ma previous prints
June 02: i-485 fingerprints taken
July 21: rfe fr i-360
