I think almost all of VAWA based interviews are being waived.

2 of my friends recently got their GC without interview, they both are VAWA self-petitioners

I wasn in removal proceedings, my vawa was approved in November, 2019 and Immigration judge terminated my removal in November, 2021. So as of now Im still waiting my i-485 to be adjudicated by USCIS

those two friends did they an application pending already before they file for vawa every lawyer i speakerr they saying we have to do interview becuase we were never interview by any officers as yet and this is our first uscis application

@pet pet, you have an interview coming up? I saw person who applied through vawa said they went to interview but none of the questions were vawa related

@pet not everyone gets interviews it's usually waived and if there's any interview it's just normal yes or no questions. when did you file and got approved ? share your case history

i file November 2018 got march 1 2021 my ead was just send to print march 17 2022

@pet pet, usually after you see card being produced then the next day you will see case approved then after that card mail out, then you will see usps pick up card that’s when you get a tracking number. usually the entire process takes about 5-10 days. mines took 7 days from card produce to card in hand

@pet please inquire with Meng congress or there's another guy I forgot I'm not sure which county you are in, if you inquire through congress they will send you rfe for medical very soon.

@pet pet yes the status might not change on the weekend I got card produce on a Thursday and approved on the Friday and nothing changed after for me until the Monday

I recently applied in July 2021 got my EAD and AP on March 10 in hand so now I’m just waiting to see. I saw someone who file November 2,2020 and got approved for her entire process with green card in hand February 14,2022

@shari I know I spoke with her, she's lucky and blessed one of thousand one like her got approved

another guy I saw who file I think December of 2019 and January this year he had his green card in hand

January 2020 is getting adjudicated there's few ppl who got approved and still stuck some on 2019

@tanzy fly, yes she’s very lucky and to top it off she didn’t use any lawyer but honestly I do have hope and I am praying and will sow a seed bcuz I don’t want go wait for more than 2 years the most. I know it can happen bcuz I’ve seen it not only on here but a girl I know who got GC within a 1 and half after she filed vawa and she was the one who told me about it

@shari that's correct, can't really assume on ppl who file now or later will get approved now or later becuz it really depends on the officer that's adjudicating our case. I believe I have more evidence than her but still pending no approval yet. so it truly depends on the luck

yes it’s really a luck thing because each officer work at different pace and so forth but I’m praying and hoping for us that we all get through soon especially for though who are waiting so long

@pet pet with highly possible chance your interview will be waived too, coz one of my friends vawa case was approved last year. And yes this is his first case ever with USCIS. After the approval he received i-693 medical and submitted them to the USCIS, so once you receive your i-693 medical rfe, it means your interview is waived

@ tanzy fly lol, my lawyer told me confidently that by next summer I’ll have my green card then coming in here and saw so many persons who filed since 2018 onwards I have a different view but then I saw 2 persons who got through within reasonable time I start to have hope again. she told me I would get my combo card late February to early March and I did but I’m just waiting bcuz it’s not even a year since I filed

@shari it's true if they don't take forever to adjudicate then you can expect it by next year for sure. I still haven't seen any feb-decmeber 2020 approvals yet. @bekzod lucky friend.

yes I saw another vawa person who got card being produced for about a week and the following week he got the update so now he’s waiting on card

@pet pet guess what I’m thinking maybe bcuz this EAD is bcuz of an approved I360 it probably will show different bcuz basically your case is approved already so it wouldn’t show approved again, it’s just a matter of waiting for the EAD to be in your hand. Just a thought bcuz I was watching a lawyer who state that I360 without approval notice is when it state card being produced

the same time you got the update yesterday it’s usually around the same time for all other updates

they just email me saying action was taking on case they samething they said Saturday

yeah but remember yesterday in the evening hours I think u got an update which was basically a date change, so today around that time u might see the update saying card mail or something
