The normal process is VAWA approval before the AOS application. If the i-290b based on VAWA was denied it shd affect the i-485 as well. It could be that the i-360 was not actually denied. Time to call uscis or wait for the letter of approval in the mail. I am still waiting for a decision on my i-290b decision based on VAWA denial. May God favour be with you.

@B Y. I've already received the denial letter for the i290b base on my i360, but my i485 status is showing my case is reopen for consideration since September 20 2021. But I'm yet to receive the reopen later for my I 485 from USCIS .

@orice 101 you can re file i290 for i360. in denial notice they mention how you can re apply i290b. so I suggest refile i290b with supporting documents. i have similar situation. my first 290b was denied then i re filed i290 with evidence then they approved my vawa last month

guys I have they same 1 290b case file motion to reopen since August 2021 they mail me letter say they receive my appeal &incase they need biometric they will mail also I send Renew of my ead June 2021 and 23 days ago I get update they close my form because beneficiary receive status true other means I don’t know what it mean I stress out so it’s being 8 months & yesterday I receive letter that’s they receive my appeal and transfer my case to they chief officer at federal plaza ny & incase I need to make inquiry I should mail them

any update?
