I did without RFE.

I took a chance. I thought it was worth it. I haven’t received any confirmation that they were able to match nor I have gotten any RFE for Medicals yet which would mean they weren’t able to match. I did send it with the barcode though. Will keep you posted when I get an update.

@Pksvn N - I was able to call USCIS and after 172 mins wait got to talk to an agent who said that there seems to be an update in June for the case around mid-June, but they can’t see what it is and a Tier 3 officer will call me back within 30 days, my I 693 was delivered on June 6th and my case was transferred on July 29th. I assume and surely pray that this means that the Medicals were linked but will have to wait for the Tier3 officer call to validate.

I would recommend that but as you know each case would be different but I also heard on a YouTube video where the “influencer” was recommending to do so.

I think it’s a chance worth taking given post Sep 30 things would be slow from processing view point

Hey @Pksvn N, I had sent back in June when it was Nebraska SC before it got transferred. I read somewhere that you have to send the cover letter with barcode of your LIN number or USCIS number so that it’s easy for the inventory personnel to find the original docket to match ( trying to make their job easy for our benefit) else I heard it will be an effort and time consuming and have chances of getting piled up in a different pile. Now I paid like 18$ or something to generate it but later found this website which offers free barcode generation - https://gcinfo.org/kb/barcodes/

I tried to use every possible best practice out there to send to improve the probability of being matched. I also sent my application and my spouse’s separately on different dates so that they have higher probability. Doing math major in Masters and my MBA degree took over me I guess.
