@Esther that's what I was talking about!!! people just stressing themselves. It goes by States and luck. You can't expect someone who's living in Washington state to answer your out of state concerns!!! That will stressed you more. I don't understand the people from this apps... Same question over and over or that question someone has already answered it before but in different post. Anyway may God bless us

lol.. I beg to differ, it certainly does not go by or depends on the State you're in, it all depends on your SC and how quick/slow they process 130, etc.. I Iive in NYC. Myself and others, as well as people in NJ have been waiting for an approval for 2 years now. Some probably a year, some less, some more, like I said it all depends on which SC has your case.

It doesn't go by state apparently as it says on the website. I tried to fight with this matter so many times with uscis customer service. It's just not accurate as it states on the site. Total bias. I'm from New York as well, and my case was supposed to be transferred to Texas Service Center which is the fastest Service Center but God knows why my case was sent to Vermont SC, the slowest SC if them all. So it doesn't depend on state all. It depends on luck I guess. And I am a very unlucky guy.

Suni sSep 29, 2021
@Esther You Are lucky your case is in Texas. That is the most fastest servie center overall. You are getting close. Processing time is 6months + for Texas service Center.

Esther MontgomerySep 29, 2021

Suni sSep 29, 2021
@esther my apology. Just checked the website. You are right it's 10-13 months which is still the most fastest compared to others. I know the feeling though, on the same boat. Good luck 🤞

You are almost there. Keep us updated.

Chiming in here…. cases are mailed to two/three lock boxes and they are distributed using a metric yet obscure to everyone I speak with. Ultimately, the case might be transferred from the original service center to another service center to balance out the workload or to Vermont for more vetting(rigorous security/background check). There is no rhyme or reason where your case goes… luck is the best way to put it… but even those whose original service center is Nebraska, they often get transferred to other centers. (my case took 11 months. I-130, Pd 11/02/2020, transferred from Texas to Vermont without notice, us citizen, filing for a spouse , approved last week). please hang in there and work on compiling support for the NVC stage. your approval will come!
