@Gary Roh This is good. I am seeing this api first time.
the only thing I notice here is that time until case decision and time until case milestone should match what you see under case progress tab in myUSCIS account.
Unfortunately that tab isn’t reliables and moves all over during the process.
If you convert days until next milestone to months, it appears to match to months under Case Progress tab.

@amdsk a
does it mean that chances of decision will be ther max by then??
amdsk aJul 22, 2025
@Gary Roh Can’t rely 100% on that as progress tab is known to be unreliable.
But you have number of days elapsed since filing in your favor. Most cases for eB1 get approved in this date range so your decision should come soon.
When it is at FO, it also means it is the last stage of process. I have seen approvals come in 2-4 weeks from the time case moves to FO. Hopefully very soon for you.

@amdsk a how to determine if a case was moved to a FO?

@Joseph Climber I just saw your post and you’re using the right API. Lots of folks on Friday reported seeing their local FO in that API. It’s possible that’s why it is showing it for you as well.
If you just recently filed, it would be too soon for a case to be moved to FO but we have seen approvals happen in 60 days.
I’d try to double confirm with Emma if a case was moved to FO. Although, for you it appears far too early.

@amdsk a could it be that folks are current to adjust are getting their cases moved to local FO?
amdsk aJul 22, 2025
@Kwame O Possible but NBC initially processes all applications after biometrics and when it has completed its work, it either approves it, moves to a FO for interview, or moves to a FO for final adjudication.

@amdsk a thanks for the input! I’ll try to check with Emma!

@amdsk a just FYI, I contacted Emma live agent. Even though the API shows my case is with the local FO, the agent confirmed it is being processed with the NBC. Thanks for the suggestion!

@Gary Roh - thanks for sharing this new api.
I checked mine today and I think the api is reflecting the time on your case ( converted to days)
ex- for my 485 case, under the progress tab, I see 10 months as the "Estimated time untill your case decision"
in the past few weeks my timeline jumped to 10 months. it was 7 months in May, 8 months in June and now it's showing as 10 months in July
as shared by @amdsk a - it's unreliable !!
