Hello! I have similar PD (November 23 2020 NBC) can you tell me how much time took for you from the bio to the interview letter? I did my bio on July 13 and still waiting for the interview (only says case is ready for an interview), also do you have the EAD? I really appreciate it your comments! Blessing on your interview

@Patricia Hi.I did my bio 7/7 on 7/9 my case updated to “Ready for scheduled interview “ on 7/10 my case updated “Interview scheduled “ on 7/15 received interview notice and date. I applied for i-130,i-131,i-765,i-485 Never received EAD or Travel document,went straight to interview.

you can use your passport to open a bank account for some banks I’m sure s as bout Suntrust or truist

@Meelo was the same for me, after bio changed 3 days later to “case is ready for an interview” but nothing yet, which one is your office? Mine is Oakland Park FL

I have opened a joint bank account without SSN, my interview is in 2 weeks

Hi good morning I went fr interview last week Wednesday I didn't have any thing except a letter from the landlord stating I live at the apartment with my husband. The IO ask fr joint documents and I told her I didn't have a ssn and couldn't provide it. I don't hve any kids with ny husband eaighter and I got approved. Please don't stress you have a son so that's all the prove you need. All the best

open a joint bank account. it’s important, the officer first asked us about joint account. you don’t need your SSN on chase or Wells Fargo. you don’t need your ssn for car insurance too,

@Nika now is already late My interview is in 4 weeks they asking about bank statements in the last 6-12 months i don’t drive so there was no reason for car insurance 🤷🏼‍♂️ i hope my baby boy will be my biggest “proof” thanks for responding

Meelo my dear let me tell you something do not stress over what you don't have. I didn't have nothing only a letter from my landlord aa a matter of fact i don't even own a car or a job. don't even have any kids and I got approved. Your son is all you need to show them it a bonified marriage

@meelo mont listen to Mel Quiroz, you have the biggest proof there is, a kid together, just pray about it and you’ll be ok, don’t do anything else right now because it’s too late, it’s going to look suspicious, I’m in similar situation as you, couldn’t do much with no SSN, my interview is at the end of this month, I’m just going to pray and be truthful, I never received EAD so it isn’t much I can do without SSN, hopefully they understand..

Alecyia they do understand because I applied for a EAD and didn't recieved it so the IO says she understand that there is nothing we can do in our part. She advice us that after we renew the green card then they expect more evidence meaning joint documents

alecyia if your married for more than two years you should get your ten year green card and also your eligible fir citizenship

@krystal. i have been married touching 5 years now to a USC Im waiting for my interview to be scheduled hopefully soon based on your comment what do you mean eligible for citizenship?

if you have been married to a usc for three years you can apply for and get citizenship. if your married to a permanent resident I think you have to wait five years and other filings you have to wait ten years to get it

@alecyia you have to get the green card first. you will get the ten year and then you can apply for citizenship your at the three year requirement

I heard persons been married say I year and 7 months or 1 year and nine months beteeen that time frame get the ten year so you have passed two years you should get your ten year. heck I’m speaking it into being @meelo you will get your ten year amen 🙏

yes you have to get the green card first. i just remembered something else you have to have your green card for one year and seven months I think before you can apply but I don’t know if it’s the same with the ten year!!!!! with the two year it makes sense because you have to change that green card

I’m not sure if let’s say you get the 2 year green card and that’s conditional why you would have to wait. or with the ten year you passed the mark to prove the marriage is legitimate you can just go ahead and apply. but I would wait a year after getting the ten year then apply for the citizenship…

@al after getting the ten year green card you have to wait three years?

ok so if you apply for GC immediately after marriage than you will get the 2 year conditional. to make sure marriage isn’t fake if you have been married for more than two years and haven’t gotten anything. that you past the “test” part and will get the 10 year one now those 2 years on the conditional count towards your time in the US. so once you get the 10 year one you would need to wait one more year and you may apply for N400

I’m my case I don’t have a GC yet so I have to wait 3 years regardless once I receive it

once the marriage is less than two years throughout the whole processing process you will get the two year. if two years pass you will and should get your ten year go. yes those two years count towards your time in the us.

alecyia if I was presently wrkibg ir work bfre my name date of birth my husband name date of birth how long I kno I husband if I met his family , his sibilings name if my kids living with me n the yes or no questions nothing complicated

alecyia they ask how long u need married just got 11 months so she explain to me I get the 2 years because I recently got married. I got my approval notice today so I'm waiting on my green card now

quan thank you you all just go there feeling relax answer all question direct if you don't sure about an answer just tell them you don't recall. it's like your having a conversation with a friend and answering questions Your friend asking you. Simply as that don't go there feeling nervous
