traveling with expired green card and I-797 notice
has anyone done it? 797 notice says it combined with expired green card is fine as long as it is within 12 months past gc expiry. has anyone tried it and does it work?

permanent residence doesn't expires, because it's permanent. just the card that expires after 10 years.
