Traveling document
So guys, I need information and advice on this. For the past 18yrs I haven't visited home to see my family, my case is showing ready to schedule for interview. I received my advance Parole card which I can use to travel with.
But my problem/worry is that I have DUI on my record which happened 5yrs ago.I fear that I can have a problem getting in at customs without my green card. Anyone with experience on this or have any idea how this thing works? I really wish to visit my family this coming January.

I am not an attorney, but absolutely you can travel if it has been 5 years you were charged, as long as there are no other charges , it isn’t a criminal conviction, you are in the clear, if you have an attorney, also run it by him or her.. Goodluck and congratulations

nothing at all but the officer just didn’t allow him entry…most lawyers advise u don’t leave the states whilst your docs are pending

@me me they asked why he traveled without his wife…took his phone and I don’t know what they found on his phone

I will advise you to wait and get your interview done before you travel so as to play safe .

It's pretty risky. I didn't apply for the AP because you never know what can happen, you might get stuck down there.
