Yes. I got back in with no issues. Just don't use European airlines like Lufthansa and the like. Preferably Turkish airlines

I did more times and it was completely fine

@Kevin why not European Airlines?

Kevin Tanko advice is very important. european airlines don't recognize expired green card with extension letter. They will allow u to board with only valid green card. To be on safer side, take American airlines. That's what I did when I was in ur position. So, you can travel.

Thank you guys for the advice 🙏🏽

when u travel pls make sure u take America airlines if ur conditional green card is expired. Due to past experiences european airlines will not accept ur extension letter for green card.

@Eko law so you had to buy a new ticket on a different airline when the European airline won’t board you with extension letter?

I traveled myself without this knowledge until my friend told his encounter while visiting his home country. I'd have run into this problem during my trip but thank God I flew American Airline to UK while I was under extension.

Wow that’s crazy. Imagine having to pay for a fresh ticket impromptu

You got no choice if u don't want to be stranded.

but it clearly says in the letter that your status is extended. it is a letter from USCIS and it should not be at any airlines mercy. right?
