I would reach the immigration officer through EMMA and ask for an update.

my expedite request for ead was approved on March 1st but it changed to RFE sent on March 5th now waiting for the notice to arrive. My i131 also changed to RFe sent. SRC as well. do you have any idea why we got approval then rfe, I have seen people get expedite approval then card produced but why we got rfe ?

@pukh lee hung I have no clue but my RFE was only for a copy of the old EAD which is ridiculous and we did provide in the package already. My status never changed to RFE sent, it just showed up in the mail. Now it should be all set and status is RFE response received, but still no approval. Just FYI, in the past for other EADs I got RFE for a passport copy and once for new pictures so yours is probably something similar. so annoying. they do everything to just hold up the case.

Yeah I have got RFe in the past too idk why they approved if they had to send us Rfe, for a day I was so happy and again the happiness dint last. you know how it feels right, this sucks! it’s been a week now I’m waiting for the letters to arrive. I am confident they just want to slow down our case

I know exactly how it feels, it’s super frustrating. My letter was dated 2/4 which is the day after they approved expedite, but the post mark was 2/28 so I only got it 3/4, a whole month after expedite was approved, It sat on somebody’s desk for almost a month. I have no words left for these people.

They are just playing with our lives. they don’t know the struggles we are going through. it’s already been 7 months and now they give me rfe for both. I’m shattered!!!

yeah, my RFE came at 12 months and only because of expedite otherwise who knows when it would have been sent. if I see any movement on the case I will update you. Hope you can do the same.

On the same/similar boat, they asked me my marriage certificate that was already part of the initial app package after 4+ months, sent on Feb 1, 2022 and nothing since then

@pukh lee hung I did because I never received a copy. I don’t think it necessarily needs to be the original, it just needs to be in the package because it has some bar code thingy for them to scan

mine were received on a Saturday so let’s say Monday, and the status changed to received on Wednesday. tomorrow it will be 2 weeks since docs have been received.

no updates for me, called them and they did not let me to submit my SR as they said that the agent requested the interview on Friday, April 1, 2022 and they are waiting to hear from Detroit FO. Fingers crossed they will have a slot soon. The status did not change from the RFE respond received

@pukh lee hung @oldrich duty looks like thankfully it’s a combo card! AP had been approved as well! we are soooo happy because we have my sis in law wedding abroad in 2 weeks!! this is the best day in 2 years! I can’t believe we are all set for the next 2.5 years. we are breathing again

@pukh lee I hope you get it approved soon. our took more than a month after they received the RFE. we did call USCIS a week before approval to tell them to check because this case had an expedite approved and it seemed to have helped to nudge the person who had the file for approval. you might want to do the same, it doesn’t hurt
