Tax return question relative to NVC stage of I130
hello!
Wondering if any one has similar experience.
my husband (uscitizen) lived in Ireland from the age of 4 until 2021 so never filed taxes within the US.
When we approach the NVC stage what can we expect in regards to him producing a W2.
He paid taxes of course in Ireland and is now paying them in the US. Just conscious of that gap!

I think there’s a provision for those kind of people- US citizens who never lived in the US. I think they’ll be exempted from producing US tax returns. I stand to be corrected but it’s online. read about it

My wife is a US citizen and she never filed taxes because she is living abroad since she is 3 years (she never worked before)
