same boat .since July 1st I got done with interview for N-400 pass and all .they're still doing my background check 🥲it's crazy 🥲I'm so depress

no I-130, it is EB2. my I-140 is approved for years now. soon they will submit and RFE saying I have to apply again because it expired. lol my case is from 2017, everything is done just missing the interview response. I just want to know how to contact the FBI about the background check.

I contacted my congressman man they follow up with uscis. their response was my application is still under going require background check and they don't know when it will be completed. but I serve a living God and soon he will change it around 🙏.

I tried ombudsman and congressman with no success.

it's very frustrating 😑😒😕and depressing.

the outside of normal processo times response is background check pending, but ombudsman response is that the USCIS said they are actively working on my case. God knows. the Congress said they can't do much for my i-485 and they focused on expedite my EAD renewal which was also denied. lol

Manuel, I see where you are coming from, but maybe there is. it does not mean you will contact any FBI agent over it, but there are agents working only on USCIS cases I believe.
