I had a similar situation. I had a stokes interview I was asked a lot of question. We had a few mistakes but wasn’t a lot it was very few mistakes. They send me a NOID. We had a chance to respond to why we made those mistakes & provide more proof. We have a lawyer she responded to the mistakes & sent it additional proof I supplied to her. If took USCIS 30 days to review the response & issue a decision. They approved me because there wasn’t a lot of mistakes & they was legitimate reasons for the mistakes. One of the questions we messed up on was about the stimulus check. they asked my husband where did I deposit my stimulus check. my husband was aware I got the check. the day I received it & where the check was sent which they asked him all those questions. but I placed the check on my citi bank account & my husband said MCU. my husband is detained so he is not here to physically know every detail. I have to pay for phone calls so of course I can’t share every detail but I did share w him I received the check & the day. there was other petty mistakes on a few other questions but overall we had a strong interview. once we responded a month later we was approved for the 1-130.

Jennifer can you share the additional documents you submitted. i submitted with the interview, joint bank statement, itinerary tickets trip together, health and life insurance, photos, taxes, rent and utilities checks,

I submitted bank statements highlighting purchases that were made by both of us. for example there’s times I go to Walmart & spend $300 on food it is certain that I did not buy $300 on food to eat alone. there’s times where I spent $45 at Taco Bell highlighted that & made those same arguments. I provided them with the actually bills with our names on both of them. example lights & internet bills had both or name. I had a car note with both our names provided that. I provided proof that my husband as listed as emergency contact at my jobs I have two jobs. I provided letters from my church where the pastor spoke of our marriage & involvement. letters from friends that knew us and the relationship. A letter from my mother & sister validating the marriage with all letters everyone must give you a copy of the state ID & sign it. I gave them copies of our license where we both had the same address on it. I gave them copies of our conversations I mean text messages. I gave them copies of coverstations we had on Facebook dating all the way from 2013 up until current time. submitted pictures that had time stamps if you gave a iPhone when you capture a picture it states the date & sometimes time. I gave them pictures from all the the years we was dating at least one for each year. lucky we had them. I gave then proof of me helping my husband obtain his drivers license. I had that all in my email I was the one that scheduled the road test.

I gave proof of zelle payments I made to my husband

I gave them everything that had both of our names lol. I did not want them to deny us & have to appeal my lawyer used all the additional evidence mind you all the evidence you listed I had all of them plus the new ones & made a string solid argument

I gave copies of both of our leases with our names on them. Also, coverstations with friends during text about me & my husband marriage. I gave them mail that came to my address with me & husband names. packages both me & my husband ordered to our address.

I had to prove to them it was a bonifide marriage which I did. me & my husband been together for years over 10 years. since high school I had so much proof so supplying additional documents was extremely easy.

& multiple pictures from our wedding with guest that attended.

crazy .. I had my interview last month. almost 4 weeks ago . nothing changed. it was easy from beginning then become hard , got separated. we had few questions diferent. status still . interview scheduled. even if we had lots of evidences. the guy was not friendly. we signed some papers at end . he just said that we will receive at mail the response. I’m kind worrying.

@kkv same day! Atlanta office, I think our interview took 15-20 minutos max.

that was good . it took almost 2 hours . I came inside around 11:30 am got out around 1:20 pm. guy was very slow asking all questions 130 and 485 . almost I slept .

Yes my interview for the I-130 was long to took over 2 hours. when I was leaving only a handful of people left mind you when I came the place was full of people. I was one of the last few to leave the building. it was terrible I was exhausted after the interview

had separation interview on June 30th too, I was asked about 65 questions, dunno how many questions my spouse was asked cause the lady didn’t call us in to clarify the discrepancies but I know we missed some questions like if we pay our bills from the joint account I said yes n my spouse said no. the lawyer said we had same answers to about 95% of the questions. the lady said she will make a decision in 30 days, didn’t give us any paper and by the time we reached home status has updated to interview completed case must be reviewed. The wait is so exhausting but staying hopeful and positive.

@anthony mine didn’t change after the interview in 2019, it stayed stuck at interview scheduled until after the 2nd interview. it s been 1 week now, still waiting to hear from them. have you heard from them yet?

your case look similar to mind, I was asked about 100 questions only 8 discrepancies and all of them where the interviewer fault we clarified, but he told us he will further review our file and we will received decision in the mail. she ask my spouse to signed 3 times on a while paper to verify her signature. is your case approved yet?

did they approve your case yet because we failed 12 questions too and it’s a month nothing yet they ask my husband to sign 3time and gave me a white paper that my case was being held for review

I replied to noid with answers and evidence but I forget to add more pictures (I already gave them when I filed and when we had interview) but I feel stupid I wish I added more pictures when I replied to noid 😥😥😓

@Damilola no. my application was denied straight up with no noid. though as at Sept 2021, that ability for an officer to deny gc application without first issueing noid has been revoked.

I did not get approved yet, Is now over one month. the officer ask my wife to verify her signature and as her to signed on a blank white paper. I was not giving any paper. he just told us we will hear from him in the mail of any decision.

guys I have they same 1 290b case file motion to reopen since August 2021 they mail me letter say they receive my appeal &incase they need biometric they will mail also I send Renew of my ead June 2021 and 23 days ago I get update they close my form because beneficiary receive status true other means I don’t know what it mean I stress out so it’s being 8 months & yesterday I receive letter that’s they receive my appeal and transfer my case to they chief officer at federal plaza ny & incase I need to make inquiry I should mail them
