you can contact your local office they will let you know when it was approved and mailed if you had applied for one when you applied for EAD . I got mine 3 days after receiving my EAD

@James h did you call? or they provided you with a tracking # I thought. I would see a status on lawfully about the s.s but I didn’t

you will not see anything on lawfully. call your local SS office they will ask you for the number on your EAD and they will let you know if they receive your request from immigration if not you might have to set an appointment with them to get it done

I have been trying from the morning to get in contact with someone and every time I do they hang up

do you I should call uscis to see the status or they can’t provide me

they will not be able to give you anything on that they’re going to tell you to contact SS office

but if you did apply for it when you applied for your EAD you will get it soon

@ James h yes I applied it at the same time of the EAD and I am trying to contact the ss office near my location

@Karen rodr thank you I tried calling multiple times my local office and they always hang up on me they do require appointment I did apply at the same time of EAD but I don’t know why they aren’t picking up they keep me on hold multiple times and nothing then hang up it is frustrating
